Traditional artisanal production is carried out by women.

For the fiber to be ready for weaving, it first needs to be collected, sun-dried, passed over the legs of the Ayoreas to thin the threads, and then dyed.

The dyeing is done using a 100% natural method with roots, bark, ash, or clay.

Curiosity: The Ayoreode or “Ayoreos” (in Spanish, “true people”) are a semi-nomadic hunter people originating from the Bolivian and Paraguayan Chaco Boreal area.
