Garabatá Fiber:
Traditional artisanal production is done by women.
For the fiber to be ready to be woven, it must first be collected, dried in the sun, passed through the legs of the ayoreas to thin the threads and then dyed.
The dyeing is done by a 100% natural method using roots, bark and ash or clay.

The Ayoreode or "Ayoreos" (in Spanish, "true people") are a semi-nomadic people of hunters originally from the Bolivian and Paraguayan Chaco Boreal area.
